I turned up early and donned the hi-vis and L plates I thought I'd never see again. We headed straight out to an unused car park and began with the slalom, slow ride and figure of eights. Only things I really noticed was how far you have to release the clutch, the wider turning circle and the tricky-to-reach side stand.
When we moved on to do the faster manoeuvres, things weren't as perfected as I'd hoped. Mainly it was just trying to remember all the instructions of where to stop and what cones to avoid. On the topic of avoiding cones, I hit one of them with my boot.. twice. Although this was the only thing I did wrong it infuriated me because if that were to happen on the test, its an instant fail.
I've got another hour or so on Monday, the day of my MOD1. Fingers crossed.
