The cold...

Went out today to clear my head of a few stresses. Wasn't until I was about 10miles from Newcastle that I realised there was quite a lot of frost at the sides of the road. I made a stop off at the Rainton Meadows nature reserve. I wanted somewhere quiet, similar to my experiences in Scotland.

The nature reserve was unbelievably peaceful, took a few photos, this is probably the best of the bunch - taken on my iPhone so excuse the quality:

Probably going to have to put the bike away for the good part of a month. I can deal with the rain but not ice... I'd rather save myself a whole lot of hassle and just walk around for a while. I've seen too many videos of bikes losing control on ice for me to give it a go, especially on standard on-road tyres.

I'm starting to get a bit worried about selling my bike this summer. Concerned that the scratches on the rear fairing, boot marks on the side fairing and shifted wheel alignment will mean I won't be able to sell it :(
