Not been up to much with the bike recently really :( Winter has taken a turn for the worst and most mornings I wake and its icy. If I do take the bike in, its usually with both feet planted at 5mph until I hit the main roads. Temperatures have dropped to -6 some nights, easily enough to surpass numbness and reach excruciated pain. The bike is having more trouble starting in the cold, keeps cutting out whilst on choke which is getting annoying. Have had a loads of work on so haven't managed to get out and about.
Did a big clean of my bike. I tried Morrison's cleaning service but its so difficult to clean it properly, its ideally meant for cars, I guess. The big clean was manual. I had a load of oil on the rear tyre that I couldn't shift. Ended up using WD40 to clear it (almost instantly) - have to be careful not to get it on the actual rubber though! I was up earlier than usual today, bike looked better than average in the morning sun:
Also, 3 days ago was the sad passing of Svengalie.
